The whole neighborhood came out and the rain stayed away for the annual Maywood Park Easter Egg hunt. Fun for the kiddos, fun for the parents and grandparents, apparently a little boring for the dog (as evidenced by her giant yawn.)
Then, we came back down the street to our house where all the big cousins proceeded to create this awe-inspiring paper Easter grass mess of hay and tractors (actually "combine harvesters," as Reid pointed out.) While the littlest cousin caught a few minutes of much needed shut-eye cuddled up with his daddy.
Tomorrow, a little church, a visit from Nana Peterson and then Easter dinner at Kyle and Hope's. In my estimation, a pretty perfect kind of weekend.
